Chances are, even if you never play golf, you have heard of these famous golfers.  Golf has never been as popular as it is today.  It is played by millions of men and women throughout the world.  What’s more, even non-golfers are interested when they read about famous golfers or when they turn on the sports channel and see these prominent faces.  Top golf champions have become familiar names in every continent.

The game of golf remains one of the few major sports that is not prejudiced against the fat or the thin, the short or the tall and the young or the old.  That is why it appeals to people from all walks of life.  Furthermore, golf is thrilling, exhilarating, frustrating and maddening.  It can be any one of these or all of these to anyone.  Not everybody can become famous golfers as this sport takes years of practice and dedication but everyone can enjoy a round of golf.
